Phoebe Philo's debut eponymous collection arrived in October, and fashion fans experienced serious sticker shock about the sky high prices - and now, she's surprised the internet again. 

The first collection boasted a $19,000 sequined dress and an $8,500 black tote bag. 

Now, the Chloé and Celine alum is at it again with her second fashion drop, including a $2,000 pillow scarf reminiscent of a neck brace and a $9,500 camo print calf hair tote. 

The London-based fashion icon, 51, has created a line that's the pinnacle of stealth wealth and quiet luxury... but that hasn't stopped fashion fans on X (formerly Twitter) from poking fun at the pricey designs.

The Celine alum is offering a $2,000 pillow scarf reminiscent of a neck brace that's getting roasted on X

German Anatomy of a Fall actress Sandra Huller is modeling many of the hard-to-get designs, which also include fringed black leather mules for $1,900 - and much like the first fashion edit, most are already selling out. 

The most noteworthy creation is the pillow scarf in cream satin (there's also a black option) retailing for $2,000. 

According to the website's description, the scarf is 'designed to be worn over the shoulders for a snug fit,' as 'the elasticated construction maximises comfort.' 

Phoebe promises a 'tactile, super soft, washed finish.' 

On X, one person joked that the white neck pillow was 'Mob wife aesthetic, Phoebe Philo-style,' sharing a photo from the Sopranos featuring an actual neck brace. 

'Channeling the fierce elegance, power, and glamour of a mob wife in Phoebe Philo's iconic style!' a commenter responded, calling the scarf 'fashion goals.'  

Another asked, 'and when I use the $2000 phoebe philo pillow scarf as a neck pillow for flights.. what are y'all gonna do about it?' 

One person responded 'leer,' as another said, 'I'd share it with you.' 

Another X user wrote, 'this is absolutely unnecessary, and that just means I WANT IT NOW.' 

'This would probably be heavenly for traveling,' one mused.  

Some fans of Phoebe's were split on the high prices, which were in the thousands.

'I see our girl Phoebe Philo calmed down w them prices for her 2nd drop lol,' one person tweeted.

Another commenter responded, 'Did she really?' pointing out 'Quite a few trousers for 5k+ I see some shirts are now "only" 1250-1500 realm but quite a few still 2-3k. Baring in mind she had QUITE a few returns for her first release.'

Another compared her womenswear designs to those found at the far less expensive COS, which they said 'at least has human price tags.'

They longed for Philo's previous works and said they missed 'the daring and the "rawness," even "raw sex" aspect of her work here.' 




The pillow scarf is also available in black for $2,000 and comes in sizes small/medium and Derilla hinta medium/large 











Items sold out immediately, including the $1,900 black tassel mules - but the $900 black leather bucket hat is still available 

Some folks on X wondered how the sales are performing for her brand - but many items that cost thousands flew off the website immediately (although the neck pillows are still available). 

Philo's second edit is available now and deliveries will be made through March, April and May. 

Prices range from $450 to $9,200.

Philo has confirmed that a third edit will be available this fall.
